Melissa DePretto-Behan

Melissa DePretto Behan, Ed.D., joined Isaacson, Miller as a Senior Associate in 2021, bringing more than 12 years of leadership experience in higher education.

Melissa’s search work has spanned academic leadership in the firm’s higher education practice and across a number of varied and vibrant institutions. She has successfully worked with clients on searches for presidents, provosts, academic deans, academic department chairs, as well as leadership roles in student affairs and operational units.

Prior to joining the firm, Melissa served at both public and private institutions, with a portfolio that included various areas in Student Affairs, such as Student Conduct, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and Residence Life. She also brings experience in policy creation, organizational development, strategic planning, and crisis response. 

Melissa currently serves on the board of the Ridley Park Athletic Club, which champions recreational youth sports.
