Melissa Marcello

Reference Specialist

Melissa Marcello joined Isaacson, Miller as a Reference Specialist in 2021. She is currently working on her first non-fiction book, “Life Through the Lens of Work,” and consults on research-based communication strategy.

Prior to joining the firm, Melissa was Associate Vice President at Champlain College in Burlington, VT, where she was responsible for enrollment management, corporate partnerships, finance, and operations for the online division for over 6 years. Before that, Melissa was Associate Dean of Enrollment Management at Norwich University Online.

Prior to moving to New England, Melissa spent over 10 years in Washington, DC where she was a public opinion pollster and communication strategist for government, healthcare, and nonprofit clients of the firm she founded, Pursuant, Inc. and for the global PR firm, Weber Shandwick.

While in Washington, DC, Melissa was also an adjunct instructor at Georgetown University in the Communication, Culture, and Technology master's program. Melissa holds a Master of Science in sociology from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary social sciences from University of South Florida.
