At the firm, she has recruited both emerging and tested leaders in arts, culture, and education, most recently for chief executives of the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Philadelphia Art Museum, Forman Arts Initiative, Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia, the Chancellor of Rutgers University–Newark, and the Dean of the Chadwick A Boseman College of Fine Arts at Howard University.Before entering executive search, Quizayra served as the Program Director for the Posse Foundation’s Arts Program, where she managed the national recruitment process for talented scholars across the United States and Puerto Rico. Earlier in her career, she worked as an arts educator and curator, co-curating national and international exhibitions as a curatorial fellow at Parsons in New York City and the Center for Craft, Creativity & Design in Asheville, North Carolina. Arts, advocacy, education, collaborative partnerships, and organizational health have remained the throughline with each position held. Quizayra holds a Master’s in Specialized Studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Master’s in Design and Culture from Parsons, and a Bachelor’s in Multimedia from The University of the Arts.
