Sean Farrell

Sean joined Isaacson, Miller in 2002 and leads the firm’s international practice. He has led recent presidential searches for King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), Yale-NUS College, the American University of Armenia, and the American University of Central Asia. He has also served several global NGOs, including AMIDEAST, and public policy advocacy organizations like PDK International. 

Sean has led the recruitment of Senior International Officers at leading U.S. universities, including the University of Chicago, Princeton University, Lehigh University, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as for deans of schools of international relations and public policy such as The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts and The Hubert H Humphrey School at the University of Minnesota and university centers like the Watson Institute at Brown University. He has also led recruitments at major U.S. think tanks, including the Urban Institute, and major scientific and arts and cultural organizations, including the Smithsonian Institution. 

Sean earned a BA from American University in International Relations and an MA in International Communications and has spent time studying in India.
