Silvia Cheng joined Isaacson, Miller as a Senior Associate in 2022, bringing a decade of experience at public, private, nonprofit, and global institutions in Asia, the Middle East, and North America. Prior to joining the firm, Silvia earned her Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) where she helped plan the first on-campus affinity graduation ceremony for first-generation graduates across Harvard and interned at HGSE’s Professional Education and Northeastern University’s Employer Engagement and Career Design.

Previously, she supported senior administration in partnership development and external liaison as a Manager of the Global Engagement Office at City University of Hong Kong while completing her MPA from The University of Hong Kong. Her love for building diverse talent pools started when she managed NYU Abu Dhabi’s admissions activities in East Asia as a Senior Outreach Officer based at the Institute of International Education (IIE) and worked closely with IIE and NYU team members across ten time zones. Since then, she has continued to volunteer with foundations to review applications and select finalists for their leadership programs or global awards. Silvia began her career as a middle school teacher in the Dominican Republic after graduating from a small liberal arts college.
