The Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville) announced the appointment of Greta Morgan as the incoming Chief Advancement Officer. Reporting to the head of school, Stephen S. Murray, and serving as a key member of his senior staff, Morgan will provide leadership and strategic vision to all aspects of the School’s fundraising activities and constituent relations. A seasoned fundraising and engagement professional, Morgan joins Lawrenceville from The College of the Holy Cross (Holy Cross) where she most recently served as director of development. A member of the vice president’s senior leadership team, Morgan was a key contributor to the College’s Become More Campaign which raised $420 million. As director of development, Morgan was responsible for leading a robust team comprised of leadership, parent, and annual giving, as well as the athletics fund.

Prior to joining Holy Cross in 2017, Morgan held progressive roles for more than a decade at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, culminating in the position of executive director of leadership and campaign initiatives and with significant responsibility for coordinating efforts in support of a $750 million campaign. Morgan began her higher education advancement career as a senior research analyst at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and at Harvard University in annual giving for the Graduate School of Education and later planned giving.

Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College and a master of business administration from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
