Executive Director Bridges Homeward | Cambridge, Massachusetts Bridges Homeward has appointed Yoyo Yau as its next Executive Director. Yau’s tenure will begin in October, marking an exciting new chapter in Bridges Homeward’s commitment to helping youth and families establish healthy, permanent relationships.Yau spent 13 years with the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC), most recently as Chief Program Officer, where she honed her expertise in guiding and enhancing a diverse array of programs to cater to the unique needs of families. Under Yau’s leadership, BCNC expanded programs to Quincy, Malden, Everett, Lowell, and Worcester and developed new initiatives like their Haitian Parent Engagement Project in Mattapan. Additionally, Yau oversaw the Everett Level of Health Project, which focused on behavioral health for Asian American, Haitian, and Latinx immigrant communities.
