Associate Dean for Enrollment Management Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine | Baltimore, Maryland We are pleased to announce that Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine has named Sue Kwan as its inaugural associate dean for enrollment management. Kwan will assume the role beginning June 17.Kwan has 23 years of experience in admissions, financial aid, and enrollment analytics. She joined Northwestern University in 2000 and progressed in responsibilities through the years. She served as the associate director of admission, director of recruitment and outreach from 2014-2019 and was instrumental in guiding recruitment strategies that both increased diversity and grew the applicant pool by 21%. In 2019, Kwan was named the inaugural director of enrollment analytics at Northwestern where she oversees the architecture and management of admissions data, develops modeling to inform and shape division goals, and leads assessment of enrollment strategies and outcomes.Kwan has strong expertise in using data, data analytics and data reporting tools to achieve enrollment goals, focusing in particular on enhancing diversity and inclusive excellence. Kwan holds bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and psychology from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree in higher education administration and policy from Northwestern University.Carrie Alexander and Ariannah Mirick led this search with Kelly McLaughlin, Arianna Williams, and Maddie Ruth.
