Chief Administrative Officer Pittsburgh Cultural Trust | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has named Hayley Haldeman as its inaugural Chief Administrative Officer, effective March 2024.Haldeman comes to the Trust with significant experience working closely with organizations to guide institutional change. She most recently served as Counsel for Dentons Cohen & Grigsby’s Nonprofit and Tax-Exempt Organizations group, where she assisted an array of nonprofits with legal and governance challenges, including in the frequent role of outside general counsel. From 2019 through 2022, Haldeman was a transformative interim and then permanent Executive Director for the Mattress Factory, a renowned contemporary art museum in Pittsburgh. Haldeman also spent seven years as a litigator in the Pittsburgh office of Jones Day and is a graduate of the George Washington University and the University of Virginia School of Law.Haldeman is an adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. Her current courses focus on museum operations and human resources management for nonprofits. Active in civic and community affairs, Haldeman is Chair of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission—appointed in 2023 by Governor Josh Shapiro. She sits on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania and co-chairs the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Nonprofit Law Committee, among other engagements.
