Vice President for Marketing and Communications Princeton Theological Seminary | Princeton, New Jersey Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS) has named Linda Romano, Ed.D., as vice president for marketing and communications, effective January 21, 2024. Romano joined PTS from St. John's University, where she served as assistant vice president for marketing and brand.In her new role at PTS, Romano will partner closely with President Jonathan Walton to develop a comprehensive marketing and communications program that will build awareness and deepen the institution’s impact on the lives of students, alumni, faculty, and the world, collaborating closely with the president’s senior leadership team and key stakeholders across campus.As assistant vice president for marketing and brand at St. John's University, Romano played a critical role in developing and implementing the institution's strategic marketing and communications plan and supporting admissions and faculty colleagues on graduate enrollment. Before her six-year tenure at St. Johns, Romano was the director of communications and marketing at Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) from 2013-2017, where she created the organization's first marketing department and oversaw the launch of three new channels. Prior to MNN, Romano served at Adelphi University as director of new media and creative services from 2001-2013, where she grew the university's digital marketing and social media to support their enrollment and branding goals. Romano holds a bachelor of arts as a senior anthropology fellow from Dartmouth College, a master of arts in psychology from Adelphi University, a master of arts in education policy and politics from the Teachers College, Columbia University, and a doctorate in educational leadership from St. John’s University.Jack Gorman and Elizabeth Neustaedter led this search with Emily Godamanna and Sandeep Kaur.
