Assistant Dean for Advancement University of Colorado Boulder, College of Engineering & Applied Science | Boulder, Colorado The College of Engineering and Applied Science at University of Colorado Boulder has appointed Kristen Gallagher as the new assistant dean for advancement, effective November 13, 2023. As assistant dean for advancement, Gallagher will be the primary development officer and provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the College of Engineering and Applied Science’s fundraising, alumni engagement, and donor relations efforts. Gallagher joins CU Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where she currently serves as the executive director of development and strategic engagement for the Kummer Institute for Student Success, Research, and Economic Development. In her role, Gallagher leads a team to secure significant gifts for the newly created Kummer Institute and partners strategically across the university in collaborative gift work supporting the institute and university priorities. Prior to her role with the institute, Gallagher served as the founding executive director of development for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business, establishing all aspects of a strategic fundraising program and supporting the growth of the newly formed college.
