Director, Office of Educational Design and Development Vanderbilt University | Nashville, Tennessee We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Anderson as the Director of the Office of Educational Design & Development at Vanderbilt University.Dr. Anderson, a Vanderbilt alumna, most recently served as Director of Teaching Programs and Co-Associate Director of the University of Louisville’s Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning. In this role, and throughout her career, she has designed, implemented, and assessed educational development offerings that have enhanced teaching and learning. A collaborator, innovator, and expert in her craft, Dr. Anderson has presented nationally and has received NSF funding for her work and research on educational design and development.As Director of the Office of Educational Design and Development, Jennifer will lead one of two units comprising the Institute for the Advancement of Higher Education (AdvancED). AdvancEd will work closely with faculty to design transformational learning experiences and innovation in high-impact teaching.Dr. Anderson, who also has served as faculty and taught courses in data analysis, political behavior, and public opinion, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee.
