Brian Burbank

Brian Burbank joined Isaacson, Miller in 2022 with over a decade of higher education and K-12 independent school administrative experience.

Prior to joining the firm, Brian worked as an Upper School Dean at The Kinkaid School (TX). In that role, he advised students through their academic experience, culminating with the college application process. He also engaged the community through teaching, coaching, and advancing school-wide DEI initiatives. Brian has previously worked in college admissions counseling at Tufts University, St. Mark’s School (MA), and Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

Brian has long advocated for educational equity through his board work and active participation in regional and national conferences. He is a board member for the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS) and was previously a member of the ACCIS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

Brian earned his BA in Africana Studies from Hobart College and his EdM in Educational Leadership and Policy with a certificate in Social Justice Leadership from Boston College.
