Clay Batley

Clay Batley joined Isaacson, Miller in 2020. A graduate of The University of Georgia, Clay comes to IM with extensive experience working within UGA’s Office of Student Affairs as an undergraduate, as well as a deep appreciation for the impact of human connection on our lives, having made contributions to two institutional research laboratories in UGA’s Sociology and Psychology Departments.

Clay views each search as an intellectual challenge and as an opportunity to serve the world’s most important civic organizations by connecting them with diverse and impactful constellations of leaders. His work at IM has been focused primarily in the International Education, US Higher Education, and Social Justice and Advocacy practice areas. Some of Clay’s recent notable search experiences include the recruitment of the Director of the Thurgood Marshall Institute at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the Chancellor of Louisiana State University Shreveport, the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Rochester, and the President of the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology.
